About Course

In this course, we focus on different ways to master your mindset in order to play tennis in the present. Being in the moment and trusting your intuition becomes easier when you have practical mindset strategies and tactics to implement on a consistent basis.

 

Emma Doyle has been working as a NLPer (Neuro-linguistic Programming) Practitioner for the past 14 years and she has worked with recreational players right through to tour-level players helping them to master their mindset and consequently, embrace the battles of competition. The three most common strategies that have proved to be most beneficial include anchoring, affirmations and visualizations. During the 6-minute visualizations, we tap into all the senses to help you either construct an image or remember a time to form a mental picture. This type of mindset skill has proven to be very successful from a local club level player right through to professional tennis.

Introduction
Champions in the sporting world have a way of doing the boring and uncomfortable consistently over and over again – which creates a pattern.

DOUBLES: What can I do in between points?
Check out this presentation that provides tips on how to master your mindset in doubles and how to better communicate with your partner.

SINGLES: CORE CONTENT – Strategies & Tactics
In this section, you will be given a number of strategy concepts and practical mindset tactics that you can immediately add to your coaching and/or playing toolkit.

SINGLES: BETWEEN POINTS – Big Body Language
In this Big Body Language section, there are tips on how to move between points in order to prepare your mind and body to play in the present.

MINDFULNESS EXERCISES
Being present in life and on the tennis court is the secret ingredient to reaching the flow state.

VISUALIZATION RECORDINGS
During these 6/7-minute visualizations, we tap into all the senses to help you either construct an image or remember a time to form a mental picture that will help you unleash your potential.
