About Course

This online tennis training course is for LEFT-HANDED players and it has been designed by Coach Tina Samara, a left-handed former professional player and D1 College coach.

There are hardly any online tennis courses designed specifically for left-handed players that also help coaches better understand how to teach left-handed players. The demonstrations are all left-handed and the tactical activities have been designed to embrace the left-hander’s way of thinking and feeling.

Tony Palafox (former coach of John McEnroe and Tina Samara) is one of the special guest coaches providing his insights on how he taught one of the best left-handed players in the world, John McEnroe.

We hope you enjoy LEFT-IN.

Section 1: Warm-up Games
Fun and creative activities to stimulate the brain for lefties - ENJOY!

Section 2: TACTICAL CREATIONS
Lefties love to think tactically and they are obsessed with wanting to know the WHY behind an activity, a drill, a tactical play and a game plan. Coaches make sure you let them work it out!

Section 3: TECHNICAL CONSIDERATIONS
In this section, there are a number of technical support skill activities for lefties, by lefties only.

Section 4: TRICK ACTIVITIES
Lefties love challenges and in this section, we perform a number of fancy racquet tricks to help teach players about creating time for themselves and time it away from their opponent. And the tweener!

Section 5: Interviews
Interviews with current pro players, past pro players, expert coaches and a very insightful journalist and fellow lefty!

Bonus Section: Cross-Body Coordination
From a very young age, it is important that children learn how to cross the midline of the body and develop both the left and right sides of the body.

OUTRO
"Thank you for making me a better lefty player, coach and person."
